    TITLE: HR Core Functional Analyst-Oracle HCM     DURATION: 12-18 Month Tenure LOCATION: Philadelphia, PA preferred-if needed could be fully remote for the right candidate Work Schedule-Flexible, Interview process-two interviews-manager plus 1 other manager JOB DESCRIPTION  GLOBAL HCM CORE ANALYST   ABOUT THE ROLE Client's HR is embarking on a multi-year transformation with the vision to create an exceptional employee experience with a market reputation of continuous growth and skill development, where all employees can be their authentic self. Digital workplace experience is a key tenant to this transformation, and client is seeking a Global HR Core Analyst for the Oracle HCM Implementation and Global Deployment.  In this role, you will be responsible for support of the Core HR Module including configuration, testing of the assigned HR-related modules as well as the on-going quarterly upgrades, enhancements, and/or changes. This role will be a direct report to the VP, Global HR Operations (HR Core Product Owner) and will be a key member of a highly collaborative global team.  EXPERIENCE:

    • Assist global product owners and regional implementation leads in gathering requirements that meet key customer objectives and success measurements
    • Assist and make recommendations in identifying testing plans related to the roll-out of the new enhancement of HR functionality that is already in place including test scripts and test plans to ensure configuration and data flow are in line with functional specifications
    • Collaborate with client's external implementation partner to perform specific configuration- and testing-related tasks within the project plan, and to ensure quality, timely delivery against project plan milestones
    • Tactically ensure relevant configurations of Oracle "fast formulas" (which automate calculations of leave, benefits, overtime, etc. based on a fixed set of variables) system reports, and HR security permissions
    • Assist and work alongside the Global Product Owners in developing and documenting appropriate work-arounds or non-system related functions not covered by the system through manual processes that may include building spreadsheet templates, etc.
    • Prepare and collect data for conversion utilizing collection templates required for populating the assigned HR module(s) required for go-live
    • Participate in testing cycles by performing configurations, executing conversions, conducting and leading testers through the testing plan and conducting break/fix
    • Support and guide users of the application and the testing of new functionality
    • Troubleshoot and resolve systems and/or configuration issues identified in deployment
    • Collaborate and assist with configurations changes, data changes and ensuring support with the change management absorption by helping every employee with new processes and procedures
    • Assist in documenting lessons learned, and identifying solutions and improvement plans through retrospective review ceremonies

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Bachelor's degree in HRIS or related field
    • 5+ years relevant work experience with integrated database and/or HRIS implementation such as Core HR, Recruiting, Talent Management, etc. (experience with Oracle HCM preferred
    • Demonstrated experience supporting implementation activities such as business requirements and analysis, mapping business processes, system configuration, gap fit analysis, application and report functional/technical specifications, unit, integration and regression testing, data migration and understanding integrations between various applications.
    • Exceptional Microsoft Excel expertise; strong analytical, problem-solving and data driven decision-making skills
    • Highly organized with proven ability to prioritize, strong communication skills and high detail orientation
    • Ability to think of the "big picture” and understand downstream and upstream impacts of global process integrations

     

    TOP 3 "MUST-HAVE SKILLS” 

    1. BA experience including system configuration, fit/gap analysis, documenting business requirements and executing test scripts
    2. Oracle Cloud HCM experience (Core HR)
