As the first line of communication with prospects and existing customers, ideal candidates have a strong understanding of the sales process, excelling at researching leads, creating new relationships, and setting our team up for success. Additionally, the ideal candidate loves gardening, natural products, and communicating over the phone. You should be a quick learner with strong communication skills and have the ability to showcase our offerings in a compelling way. Every potential customer is an opportunity for you to boost top-line revenue growth, customer acquisition levels, and profitability.

    Objectives of this Role

    • Generate leads and build relationships by nurturing warm prospects and finding new potential sales outlets
    • Represent our company’s products, starting with a comprehensive understanding and leading to consumer research to identify how our products meet needs
    • Contact existing customers to identify potential up-selling opportunities
    • Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects and engage with them for the next steps
    • Identify best practices to increase lead generation

    Daily and Monthly Responsibilities

    • Utilize mainly cold calling, email, and creative outreach to generate new sales opportunities
    • Identify prospect's needs and suggest appropriate products
    • Build trusting relationships with prospects and existing customers to qualify leads as sales opportunities
    • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market
    • Set up meetings or calls with (prospective) customers
    • Keep an open communication with our Warehouses to ensure on time delivery
    • Report to sales manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results

    Requirements

    • BS degree highly preferred

    • Hands-on experience with multiple sales techniques (including cold calls)

    • Comfortable with cold calling/Excellent verbal communication skills

    • Experience with computer software

    • Familiarity with MS Excel

    • Understanding of sales performance metrics

    • Persistent, enthusiastic demeanor that demonstrates a willingness to engage with prospects

    • Driven to learn new skills and build a career in sales

    • Competitive, but team-oriented

    • Technical aptitude to quickly master our sales tools and internal technology

    • Must be legally authorized to work in the US
