Director of Superhero Swim Academy – Lake Worth Superhero Base

Location: Lake Worth, FL Company Mission: Superhero Swim Academy inspires creativity and imagination through swim lessons built on our unique Superhero Swim Universe lesson plan and trademarked Superhero Swim Characters.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to spearhead our Lake Worth Superhero Swim Base. This role requires a dynamic, organized, and visionary leader looking to redefine the swim lesson industry while managing the daily operations of our superhero training hub.

Role Overview:

As the Director of Superhero Swim Academy, you will oversee all aspects of our Lake Worth operations, ensuring our mission of inspiring young swimmers is brought to life. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership abilities with a background in aquatic education and team management to build a cohesive team of Superhero Coaches. This is a full-time, salaried position with opportunities for additional compensation through growth of the location.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Manage day-to-day operations at the Lake Worth Superhero Base, ensuring smooth delivery of lessons and high-quality customer service.

Team Development: Recruit, train, and inspire a team of aquatic mentors and Superhero coaches by leading monthly in-services for continued education to better educate our Superhero Coaches.

Program Oversight: Ensure that lessons adhere to the Superhero Swim Universe curriculum and maintain a consistent standard of excellence. Innovate and refine program offerings as needed.

Creative Collaboration: Partner with the creative team to develop new Superhero Swim Characters, songs, and social media content to enhance the Superhero Universe.

Client Engagement: Serve as the face of the Lake Worth Superhero Base, fostering strong relationships with families, addressing concerns, and celebrating swimmer milestones.

Safety & Compliance: Uphold safety protocols and ensure all staff certifications remain current. Monitor and maintain facility standards.

Growth Initiatives: Spearhead efforts to expand community outreach, and other creative programming to increase enrollment and engagement.

Training Initiatives: Partner with creative team to develop a systematic training program for new Superhero Coaches.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in aquatic education, with a proven track record of managing teams and programs.

Certified LGI Instructor to conduct Lifeguard Trainings and Renewals

Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Creative thinker with a passion for inspiring imagination and innovation in young swimmers.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with staff, families, and the community.

Background in developing and implementing creative educational or recreational programming is a plus.

Must pass a background check and have reliable transportation for occasional community events or private lessons.
