Based in Tampa, Florida, we are looking to expand our dynamic team with a skilled and experienced Healthcare Construction Superintendent.

     

    Position Summary: We are actively seeking a Construction Superintendent with a robust background in ground-up construction and substantial project management experience. This role demands a professional who can effectively negotiate trade and vendor pricing to secure profitable agreements while maintaining stringent quality and performance standards. The successful candidate will oversee all site operations, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.

     

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Strategically negotiate and finalize all trade and vendor contracts to ensure profitability and adherence to budget constraints.
    • Precisely plan and schedule construction operations, managing site resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
    • Maintain daily communication with clients, providing updates and progress reports, and promptly addressing any inquiries or concerns.
    • Oversee and schedule deliveries and material supplies to the job site, ensuring efficient project flow.
    • Supervise on-site activities, offering guidance and leadership to subcontractors and ensuring compliance with all construction specifications.
    • Uphold the highest standards of safety and health on the job site, implementing OSHA guidelines and ensuring all practices meet local and federal regulations.
    • Compile and manage the Project Close Out binder, detailing all relevant project completion documentation.

     

    Qualifications:

    • A minimum of 8 years of experience in construction management, with a strong preference for candidates with ground-up construction expertise.
    • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or a closely related field is highly preferred.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, FastTrack, and other relevant software platforms.
    • OSHA certification is required.
    • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams effectively.
    • A background in major trades is preferred.

     

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Competitive salary range: $125,000 - $135,000 per year, based on experience.
