    A well-respected, local General Contractor is hiring a Superintendent to oversee projects in South Puget Sound, including Tacoma.

    With a strong backlog of multi-family (podium), self-storage, and retail projects in the area, this role offers stability and long-term career growth.

    The Superintendent will lead on-site operations, coordinate team and company communication, and ensure successful project execution. This is a great opportunity to join an established firm that provides generous benefits and a strong pipeline of work in Tacoma and surrounding areas.

    Superintendent Responsibilities

    • Oversee on-site project production and maintain the project schedule under the direction of a Project Manager.
    • Manage subcontractor scheduling and performance, as well as personnel tracking and timekeeping.
    • Apply structural engineering principles to the design of multi-family and commercial buildings, including structural post-tension foundations and commercial framing.
    • Perform construction administration tasks, such as reviewing shop drawings, responding to RFIs, and conducting structural inspections.
    • Interface with city officials to schedule inspections and implement necessary corrections. Ensure compliance with relevant building codes related to structural design and construction.

    Superintendent Qualifications:

    • 4+ years of demonstrated construction supervision experience in commercial and multi-family construction
    • Strong knowledge of concrete, earthwork, and large job infrastructure
    • Thorough knowledge and understanding of building blueprints, maps, and color charts
    • Ability to manage, supervise, mentor personnel
    • Advanced knowledge of various construction disciplines, safety regulations, scheduling, budget/cost control, quality control
    • Proficient in Microsoft Suite
    • Maintain OSHA 10, First Aid, CPR certifications
    • Must have valid driver’s license

    Compensation: $125,000-$160,000
