Sphere Mechanical Corp. is on the lookout for an experienced HVAC Superintendent to take charge of our mechanical projects. You’ll oversee the planning, execution, and completion of HVAC projects ranging from $5M to $12M, working on both federal and private contracts. In this role, you’ll lead a skilled field team, coordinate with subcontractors, manage material orders, and ensure seamless HVAC installations. Responsibilities: • Enforces and performs all work adhering to the company’s safety policy and OSHA & EM385 mandated requirements • Interpret and understand the scope of work, specifications, blueprints, addendums, and properly document change orders or project delays • In charge of all aspects of the project from start to finish and implements measures to reduce cost and complete the project on schedule • Layout and plans work for installers to complete tasks in a timely manner • Orders/layout and installs all project duct work • Orders/layout and installs necessary refrigerant piping as required • Review/study equipment submittals and properly install equipment • Perform all work to local code and obtain all necessary inspections • Coordinate with GC and other trades to expedite our progress and attend necessary meetings • Organize daily, weekly, and monthly project schedules to adhere to budgeted time frames and adjust accordingly • Computer literate and properly documents project history through daily/weekly/monthly reports, pictures, and forms • Maintain accurate and detailed records of project progress, including time sheets, daily reports, material usage, and change orders. Prepare and submit reports as required • Assists in recruiting, interviews, disciplinary action, and reviews of installers Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in a supervisory role in the HVAC/construction industry • 5-10 years of field experience in HVAC/Sheet metal • Strong knowledge of construction processes and building codes • Excellent leadership and team management skills • Proficient in project management software (Bluebeam, Procore, etc.) • Current driver's license/Insurance • US Work Authorization and ability to successfully pass a federal background check Compensation: $100,000 - $105,000 yearly
