  • Responsibilities

    Position Overview: The Superintendent at Streib Company manages residential and commercial electrical projects in Springdale, Arkansas. This is a field-based role requiring hands-on leadership at job sites. The Superintendent will supervise teams, ensure quality and safety standards are met, and address challenges directly in the field while handling some office-based tasks such as planning and reporting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead day-to-day operations on residential and commercial electrical job sites.
    • Actively work alongside teams in the field, providing technical guidance and support.
    • Supervise Foremen, Journeymen, and Apprentices to ensure adherence to project timelines and standards.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality, safety, and compliance with electrical codes.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve on-site issues promptly.
    • Collaborate with Project Managers and Estimators for effective project planning and execution.
    • Prepare and maintain project schedules, reports, and documentation.
    • Mentor and train team members, fostering professional growth and development.
    • Manage procurement of materials and oversee equipment allocation.

    Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in residential and commercial electrical work, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Hands-on experience working as an electrician in the field.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, safety standards, and building codes.
    • Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple job sites effectively.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in project management tools and reporting software.
    • Valid class E driver's license and ability to travel locally.
