Job Description
NBC News is seeking an experienced Supervising Producer with strong editorial judgment who thrives in a fast-paced newsroom. This is an ideal position for a versatile, seasoned professional with a strong interest in news and current events to contribute to developing a new daily show.
The Supervising Producer will work with the executive producer to pitch stories and delegate assignments to a small team, troubleshooting scheduling and other logistics as needed, and building relationships across the newsroom to cultivate talent and a reliable roster of guests.
The Supervising Producer will also be expected to edit interviews in Descript and ProTools, or similar digital audio software, and jump in on any aspects of production as needed, from researching and booking guests to drafting show scripts and quickly writing sharp copy.

Salary range: $120,000 - $155,000
