HCT seeks an experienced financial leader to serve as the Interim Supervisor of Accounts Payable for a 500+ bed hospital in Illinois. This position will oversee the processing, recognition and payment of accounts payable in a high volume environment.  Responsibilities include:

• Implementing, and managing the Finance’s procure-to-pay tactics to help achieve strategic goals. This includes processing vendor invoices, distributing vendor payments, remitting 1099s annually, optimizing and streamlining the procure-to-pay process while improving overall cash flow and leveraging technology to gain efficiencies where appropriate.
• Continually identifying opportunities for process and system improvements and/or enhancements.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in accounting, business administration or other finance affiliated profession; OR 4 years of business experience.
• Experience: 5 years of high volume A/P experience, coupled with at least 2 years’ experience in a leadership role. Healthcare experience preferred. 
• Systems: Knowledge of Lawson or Position Manager, and Epic preferred. Strong Excel skills required.
