    Position Hours: FULLTIME 2nd Shift: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM (Monday - Friday)

    Position Wage: Starting at $25 per hour (plus based on experience)

    17% shift premium included

    Job Description: The Supervisor/Shift Foreman is responsible for ensuring the plant is being run efficiently and safely by ensuring schedules are being met for customers, personnel are properly trained, assisting with production when needed, keeping proper documentation amp; records, ensuring proper safety equipment amp; protocol are being utilized, and overall keeping the shop morale high. Being able to not only oversee team members but being proactive by assisting them to accomplish the day’s goals will be crucial.

    Principle Duties amp; Responsibilities:

    Production

    • Work closely with employees on shift to accomplish set schedules amp; commitments
    • Scheduling of work amp; communicating as needed with customers
    • Oversee operations on production floor
    • Understand the processing of all material within production areas
    • Ensure plant organization amp; cleanliness
    • Document all maintenance concerns
    • Coordinate with Maintenance Department for any equipment repairs
    • Document amp; report all equipment issues to Plant Manager

    Team Development amp; Training

    • Working one on one with employees to help in their overall performance
    • Complete semi-annual employee reviews for all team members
    • Provide training, coaching, amp; disciplinary actions for all team members
    • Maintain documentation of training for employees
    • Conduct startup of new equipment amp; record all training documents needed
    • Weekly goal assessments of all individuals in temp to hire status
    • Monthly goal assessments of all ThermTech employees in collaboration with shift foreman

    Leadership

    • Follow amp; enforce procedures
    • Complete shift checklists daily
    • Manage inter-shift meetings and participate in hourly plant walk-through
    • Ensure adequate shift coverage through employee scheduling amp; cover hours as needed
    • Must be able to work weekends as needed
    • Bring company phone home to assist in after-hour issues when needed
    • Communicate lead times to CSR Department
    • Maintains amp; strengthens employee morale through the servant leadership philosophy
    • Provide constructive recommendations for overall improvements in safety, quality amp; productivity standards of performance.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test amp; background check.

    Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent preferred

    • Acquire/maintain forklift certification

    Experience:

    2+ years in heat treating and prior management/leadership

    Hard Skills:

    • Understand Bluestreak and Microsoft Office software amp; use it efficiently
    • Understand ThermTech’s quality policy, mission, vision, amp; values statement
    • Knowledge and/or previous experience of 6S
    • Be knowledgeable of all plant equipment amp; procedures
    • Proficient physical shape - able to lift up to 25 lbs. regularly
    • Proficient in typing
