About the Role: The Supervisor of Business Coaches for a Las Vegas-based Business Incubator Program is responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of 4 full-time Business Coaches. These coaches are dedicated to providing mentorship, strategic advice, and resources to help entrepreneurs and small businesses, particularly in underserved urban communities, grow and succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision & Leadership:
Supervise a team of 4 full-time business coaches, providing guidance, support, and leadership to ensure they are delivering high-quality services to program participants.
· Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to improve the effectiveness of each business coach.
· Foster a collaborative and supportive environment to ensure business coaches are equipped to meet the diverse needs of entrepreneurs in the incubator program.
Program Management:
· Oversee a Business Incubator Program, ensuring alignment with the organization’s mission to promote economic development and empowerment in urban communities.
· Ensure that business coaches are following best practices in mentorship, business development, and client support, with a focus on growth, sustainability, and scalability.
· Coordinate with other stakeholders to ensure the program provides all necessary resources, from business planning to access to capital.
Client Relationship & Success Tracking:
· Monitor the progress of incubator businesses, ensuring that coaches provide actionable advice, goal setting, and troubleshooting for entrepreneurs in the program.
· Establish and track performance metrics for both business coaches and clients, assessing business growth, financial health, and the effectiveness of coaching interventions.
· Address and resolve complex client issues, stepping in as needed for business owners or coaches who may require extra support or guidance.
Training & Development:
· Provide ongoing training opportunities for business coaches to enhance their expertise in areas such as leadership, business strategy, financial management, and urban entrepreneurship.
· Lead or facilitate workshops and seminars for incubator businesses, focusing on skills that promote sustainable business practices and growth.
· Identify external resources and opportunities for networking, funding, and partnerships that can help support both the coaches and the businesses they mentor.
Outreach and Program Growth:
· Assist in recruiting and onboarding new business coaches to expand the team as needed, ensuring they align with the organization’s mission and goals.
· Collaborate with local partners, investors, and community organizations to grow the program and increase its impact, fostering strong networks for the incubator businesses.
· Help with the marketing and promotion of the Business Incubator Program to attract promising entrepreneurs and small businesses to the program.
Reporting & Evaluation:
Provide regular reports to senior management on the progress of the Business Incubator Program, including key outcomes, client achievements, and program impact.
Conduct evaluations of both the business coaches’ performance and the overall program, gathering feedback to refine coaching approaches and improve client satisfaction.
Skills and Qualifications:
Leadership and Management Skills: Proven ability to manage and support a team of business coaches, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback to optimize their effectiveness.
Business Coaching Expertise: Strong understanding of business development strategies, including marketing, operations, financial management, and scaling for small businesses.
Community Development Knowledge: Experience working with small businesses, particularly in urban or underserved communities, and understanding the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in these environments.
Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with diverse groups of stakeholders, from coaches to entrepreneurs to community partners.
Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Capacity to assess business progress, identify challenges, and propose solutions that benefit both coaches and businesses.
Cultural Sensitivity and Competency: Understanding of the unique needs of urban entrepreneurs, including minority and women-owned businesses, and the ability to tailor support to these communities.
Ideal Background:
Previous experience as a business coach, consultant, or mentor with a focus on supporting small or minority-owned businesses.
Leadership experience in managing teams, ideally in a business development, nonprofit, or community empowerment setting.
Experience in community development or working within small business incubators, accelerators, or similar programs.
A Masters of Business Administration (M.B.A.) Degree.
Familiarity with the challenges faced by entrepreneurs in urban areas, with a focus on access to capital, market entry, and community resources.

As the Supervisor of Business Coaches, you will play a pivotal role in managing a team of 4 full-time coaches, ensuring they provide high-quality, personalized mentorship to the businesses in the incubator program. Compensation:
Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
