    WHAT YOU'LL DO

    As a Supplier Development Engineer , you will work directly with our clients to enhance supplier performance, ensuring quality, cost, and delivery meet industry standards. Your responsibilities include:

    • Assessing and improving supplier capabilities through audits and process evaluations.
    • Driving supplier performance improvements in quality, manufacturing processes, and operational efficiency.
    • Collaborating with suppliers on corrective actions, continuous improvement initiatives, and lean manufacturing strategies.
    • Supporting Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) activities.
    • Managing and resolving supplier-related issues, ensuring compliance with client standards.
    • Facilitating communication between suppliers and clients to achieve seamless integration.

    WHO YOU ARE

    • You have 2-5 years of experience in supplier development, manufacturing engineering, or a related field.
    • You have a background in manufacturing and understand production processes.
    • You are experienced in supplier assessments, process improvements, and quality tools (Lean, Six Sigma, APQP, PPAP, etc.).
    • You have excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset.
    • You are comfortable working with suppliers, engineers, and leadership teams to drive improvements.
    • Your English skills are solid, German and/or Spanish is a plus.
    • You are willing to travel.
    • You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
