  • Responsibilities

    LifeSpice's Supply Chain Analyst plays a pivotal role in analyzing and improving the company's overall supply chain, demand/supply planning, and procurement functions. We are looking for a entrepreneurial-minded and data-driven analyst that will excel at utilizing data and communication to optimize S&OP and procurement processes. The Supply Chain Analyst works closely with our vendors and various internal teams to manage our raw material library and our end-to-end supply chain.

    No relocation assistance will be provided

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Work cross-functionally with ingredient vendors, LifeSpice operations, sales, R&D, and accounting team members to manage forecasts and inventory levels
    • Report on material usage and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor supply chain performance, including forecast accuracy, vendor on-time delivery performance, and finished good lead times, etc.
    • Audit the company supply chain and procurement data and present findings and suggestions to management
    • Support day-to-day procurement and sourcing functions and collaborate with our vendor partners to ensure timely and efficient shipping of raw materials
    • Support the planning and execution of cost-saving initiatives within procurement
    • Support the Operations, Supply Chain, and Sales teams to align supply chain strategies with company goals
    • Support ad-hoc supply chain analytic requests as needed
    • Support raw material SKU setups and Commercialization and Scale Up tasks as needed

    REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be able and willing to work five days per week in our River North office – this is not a remote or hybrid role
    • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Economics, or a related field. Candidates with no degree but with significant experience in food Supply Chain or Purchasing will also be considered.
    • 2+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, integrated planning and/or S&OP, preferably within the food manufacturing industry.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret, aggregate and/or model multiple complex data sets
    • Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • A leader and a team player. Must have an entrepreneurial mindset with a ‘self-starter' mentality. Should be a problem solver with interest in seeking innovative and creative solutions to supply chain challenges.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Experience working and communicating directly with domestic and/or international suppliers
