    Job Description

    As a Supply Chain Co-Op / Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Relate education to real life situations.

    • Collaborate with the Plant Operations, Distribution Center, Sourcing and Materials teams.
    • Create and execute service improvement and inventory management strategies that help Therma-Tru service their customers and achieve their financial metrics.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Inventory Management
    • Analyze usage and trend reports to provide recommendations on stocking levels
    • Make suggestions for product rationalization using data and analysis techniques
    • Service Level Management
    • Monitor backorders and past due PO’s to confirm and communicate delivery dates of material
    • Manage expedite requests to ensure efficient production schedules or meet customer delivery dates
    • Create reports using ERP systems, Cognos and Excel to provide data for support in decision making
    • Provide support for material that is needed from offsite warehouses
    • Materials and Scheduling Support
    • Work with team members who manage raw materials as well as schedule production lines
    • Gain experience working on a team in a high-volume production factory
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    A successful Supply Chain Co-Op / Intern will meet the following requirements:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or other related field
    • Problem solving and communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects/responsibilities at the same time
    • MS Office experience, primarily in Excel
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, actively pursues and drives continuous improvement activities, and demonstrates strong leadership.
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills
    • Excellent time management skills
    • Reliable transportation
    • US Citizen or Green Card Holder

    Additional Information

    Fortune Brands believes in fair and equitable pay. A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is $18.00 USD - $20.00 USD. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range, or be above or below the range, based on factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, professional achievement, business need, and location. In addition to base salary, employees will participate in either an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based sales incentive plan.
