We are looking for an experienced Supply Chain Manager with a strong background in automotive manufacturing to oversee and optimize our supply chain operations. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the automotive industry's unique supply chain challenges and possess the skills necessary to develop and implement strategies that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance. The ideal candidate will be responsible for optimizing our supply chain efficiency, ensuring timely delivery of products, and maintaining inventory levels.
Job Responsibilities
Develop and implement strategic initiatives to optimize the automotive supply chain, including sourcing, procurement, production planning, inventory management, and logistics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, quality assurance, and finance, to ensure alignment and integration of supply chain activities with overall business objectives.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiate contracts, and monitor supplier performance to ensure on-time delivery, quality, and cost-effectiveness of materials and components.
Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and risk mitigation within the supply chain and lead initiatives to implement solutions.
Utilize data analytics and performance metrics to monitor and evaluate supply chain performance, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement.
Lead and develop a high-performing supply chain team, providing guidance, coaching, and support to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices in automotive supply chain management and apply knowledge to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to provide updates and recommendations on supply chain activities.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on automotive manufacturing.
Proven track record of success in optimizing supply chain processes, reducing costs, and improving efficiency within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of automotive supply chain best practices, industry trends, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to leverage data to drive business outcomes.
Demonstrated leadership abilities, with experience leading and developing high-performing teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
