    Job Title: Support Engineer, Quality

    Location: Dallas, TX (On-site)

    Position Summary:

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering the expected Quality support required to ensure SLAs and KPIs for all RFA facilities are achieved. As the Support Engineer, Quality, you will play a customer-facing role with a direct impact on quality and performance at Apkudo locations. This hands-on position requires close collaboration with onsite and remote support functions, as well as the customer's quality teams. Your key objective will be to optimize quality across all RFA facilities through analysis, recommendations, and program management of discovered issues to closure. This role reports to the Head of Technical Delivery Management.

    What you'll do:

    • Responsible for quality support of multiple Apkudo sites to meet customer business requirements governed by SLA's and KPI's
    • Understanding and driving priorities ensuring optimal quality output
    • Understanding customer needs, including the customer's business and platform/systems, understanding how the Apkudo platform fulfills those business needs, and recommending prioritization of efforts.
    • Interface with client quality teams and cross-functional teams within Apkudo
    • Primary operations interface with Apkudo's monitoring personnel for early detection, six-sigma alerts, and sequential failures
    • Lead and participate in quality standups for SLA management and downtime reviews
    • Maintain tickets for all activity through Click-Up
    • Manage escalations and ensure they are tracked through to resolution
    • Process optimization and continuous improvement recommendations, and work with site leadership to implement
    • Build and enhance customer relationships.
    • While this role is based in the Dallas/Coppell area, there may be occasional travel outside of the area up to 15% of the time, including international

    What you'll need:

    • BS in Engineering or a relevant field. MS is a plus and/or 10+ years of experience in a quality engineering role, including a production environment
    • Additional certification in quality management (Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, CQE-Certified Quality Engineer) is preferred
    • 3+ years of progressive Android or iOS mobile device support experience.
    • Technical Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in a quality engineering or manufacturing quality role, preferably in a robotics or electronics system environment.
    • Experience in manufacturing processes, process improvement, or quality control systems.
    • Familiar with electronics industry-specific standards.

    Technical Skills:

    • Quality Control Tools: Experience with quality improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Charts, and Root Cause Analysis.
    • Statistical Analysis: Microsoft Excel Power user (pivot tables, complex charting capabilities, ODBC interfaces for automation) and proficiency in Excel for data analysis and process control.
    • Proficient in database interfaces for data extraction via SQL queries/API's and merging tables/data for reporting purposes
    • Microsoft PowerBI Development Experience Preferred - A history designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI, extracting insights from data to inform business decisions by translating complex datasets into visually appealing visualizations, collaborating with stakeholders to understand data needs, and ensuring data accuracy within the BI system; key skills include proficiency in Power BI features, data modeling, DAX calculations, data extraction and transformation (ETL), and strong analytical thinking abilities.
    • Process Optimization: Ability to implement process control techniques to ensure that manufacturing operations meet quality and efficiency goals.
    • Testing Equipment: Experience with testing and measurement tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, vision systems) to assess product quality.
    • Development and distribution of performance reports which requires data normalization, mapping, and data correlation
    • Knowledge of safe working practices around moving and electrical equipment
