    Job Summary

    We are seeking a knowledgeable Customer Facing Support Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for ensuring customer issues are solved and training takes place to avoid future issues. Customers contact our business-hours support queue with ID card printer, camera and software-related questions or issues. Your role is vital to the smooth operation of our company and it enables customers to meet their goals or easily issuing badges to their constituents. The ideal candidate has strong technical skills as well as excellent customer service and communication skills.

    Responsibilities

    Assist with inbound customer software and hardware questions

    Remotely administer and set up customer equipment for new installations (computers, printers, cameras, etc)

    Install and configure software

    Train customers in best practices in technology and how to use software and equipment

    Maintain documentation for each customer interation

    Qualifications

    An associate's or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , IT, MIS or a related field is preferred

    Previous experience as an IT Technician or a help-desk technician is preferred

    Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

    Ability to work well as part of a team

    Strong written and verbal communication skills

    Understanding of data privacy and security
