Job Title: In-Home Support Specialist for Individuals with Autism

Shifts Available: Evening and Overnight Shifts

Position Overview: We are looking for empathetic and skilled In-Home Support Specialists to join our team. This role is similar to working in a group home setting, providing direct support to individuals with autism in their home environment during evening and overnight shifts. You will play a crucial role in enhancing their daily living skills, promoting independence, and ensuring their safety and well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities.
Implement individualized support plans that focus on social skills, communication, and behavioral development.
Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to foster connection and engagement.
Monitor and document client progress, making necessary adjustments to support plans.
Collaborate with families and team members to ensure a holistic approach to care.
Ensure a safe and supportive environment during evening and overnight hours.
Qualifications:
Experience working with individuals with autism or in a related field is preferred.
Strong understanding of behavioral support techniques is a plus.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient, compassionate, and adaptable demeanor.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Flexible availability for evening and overnight shifts.
High school diploma or equivalent; relevant training in psychology, education, or a related field is a plus.
