Job Responsibilities
Knowledge of Regional Center Title 17 regulations is a must!
Familiar with Developmental and Intellectually disabled individuals
Supervise and Train Staff: Manage Direct Support Coordinators and Direct Care Associates, managing staff schedules, ensuring training, development, and compliance with IPPs, ISPs, behavior, and health plans.
Budget Management: Oversee and understand company labor reports and consumer IHSS objectives
Support for Individuals Served: Advocate for and support individuals in daily living, life choices, and personal goals while respecting their rights.
Compliance and Documentation: Ensure accurate documentation, reports, and compliance with Regional Center requirements.
Emergency and On-Site Support: Provide immediate response to emergencies and act as Direct Care staff when needed, including covering shifts.
Liaison Role: Communicate regularly with Regional Centers, families, and conservators, attending IPP and interim meetings.
Quality Assurance: Maintain satisfaction of individuals served, ensure staff coverage, and evaluate behavior strategies.
Administrative Duties: Submit weekly recaps, manage client files, and adhere to injury prevention protocols.

Job Requirements
Certifications: Must obtain CPR/First Aid certification before working solo.
Client Support: Manage staff schedules and/or provide direct care assistance when direct care staff are unavailable.
Interpersonal Skills: Relate positively with clients, families, community and staff.
Transportation: Valid driver’s license, insurable driving record, and reliable vehicle.
Judgment: Exercise initiative and judgment in client support.
Compliance: Meet Title 17 requirements and maintain required licenses.
Training: Complete annual training on SLS theory, policies, and service delivery.
Education/Experience: Bachelor's preferred or 1–2 years of related experience.
Physical Demands: Able to lift 50 lbs, assist with wheelchairs, and perform CPR/First Aid.
Work Environment: Combination of office, fieldwork, and in-home client support.
