    Exciting Opportunity for a Surgery-Passionate DVM

    We're seeking an enthusiastic Associate DVM with strong surgical skills to join our collaborative team. This role features three dedicated surgery days per week, offering the perfect blend of surgical practice and general medicine. The ideal candidate will thrive in performing both routine and advanced surgical procedures while maintaining our high standards of patient care and client communication.

    Core Responsibilities & Surgical Focus

    • Lead three dedicated surgery days per week with state-of-the-art equipment
    • Perform diverse surgical procedures ranging from routine spay/neuter to advanced soft tissue surgeries
    • Provide comprehensive pre- and post-operative care
    • Maintain general practice duties including examinations, diagnostics, and treatment planning
    • Mentor technical staff in surgical nursing and patient care
    • Participate in case rounds and contribute to practice protocols

    Ideal Qualifications

    • California-licensed DVM in good standing
    • Demonstrated surgical proficiency and interest in expanding surgical skills
    • Strong communication abilities for client education and team collaboration
    • Commitment to high-quality medicine and surgery
    • Interest in continuing education and staying current with surgical techniques
    • Experience with or willingness to learn advanced surgical procedures
