    USPI/Summit View Surgery Center in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a motivated Part Time, Surgery Scheduler/Receptionist to join our team. Enjoy weekends off, with no holidays or call. Summit View Surgery Center is a fast-paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.

    JOB SUMMARY

    The Scheduler is responsible for managing all aspects of patient scheduling for the surgery center. The position has significant communication requirements with practice offices, leadership teams and employees. The job requires excellent communication skills to build collegial relationships with surgeons, patients and staff. The position may also require assisting with insurance verification and/or other areas key to the continuity of patient care. Working the front desk, receptionist duties, medical records, hours may vary, will be required to open and close. The Front Desk Receptionist interfaces with patients and families, physicians and staff; Admit patients and process their paperwork; Update patient demographics/information in system; Collect monies due and document in the billing system; Handle funds per office procedure. Answer incoming phone calls.

    Qualifications

    • High School Graduate or equivalent, Bachelor’s degree encouraged
    • 2+ years of experience in a clinical environment preferred
    • 2-3 years of scheduling experience preferred
    • 2 years Receptionist/Medical Records experience preferred
    • Ability to read, write and comprehend English

    Hourly Rate: $21.61-$28.91

    Hourly Wage Range: $24-30 per hour. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
