    Job Summary:

    We are seeking an ambitious and energetic surgical tech to join our team at a new, modern, private practice plastic surgery clinic in Omaha, NE. Our mission is to deliver exceptional surgical outcomes in a welcoming and detail-oriented environment. This position offers a dynamic work environment with primary responsibilities in the operating room and sterile processing, and with occasional support in other areas, such as administration, reception, or clinic as needed.     2+ years experience

    Benefits included

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist the plastic surgeon in the operating room, including scrubbing in with the surgeon, during surgical procedures one to two days per week

    Pull and organize instruments and equipment prior to cases

    Prepare the operating room for surgeries, including setting up sterile trays and equipment.

    Sterile preparation of surgical patients

    Sterile processing, cleaning, and maintenance of surgical instruments and trays

    Maintain strict adherence to surgical asepsis, infection control, and safety protocols

    Provide support in the clinic or office as needed (may include front desk, phone answering, light clerical tasks, or patient rooming)

    Qualifications:

    Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program or equivalent training

    Prior experience in an OR setting preferred (experience in outpatient surgery or plastic surgery is a plus)

    Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain by start date)

    Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to sterile technique

    Professionalism, reliability, and a team-oriented mindset

    Willingness to wear multiple hats and support various functions of the practice during growth

    Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
