Private Ambulatory Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Surgical Technician to join our team on a per diem basis, with the potential to transition to part-time employment based on performance and need. This is an excellent opportunity for a freshly graduated or recently graduated scrub tech to gain valuable experience and develop their career in a supportive and fast-paced Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC).

Preferred: Some experience in a surgical setting, particularly with sterilization procedures, operating room turnover, or previous work experience/internships within an ASC.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Natural leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.

As a Surgical Technician you will:

Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures by ensuring all necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment are available and sterile.

Assist the surgical team during procedures by anticipating their needs and passing instruments and supplies efficiently.

Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical cases.

Participate in the proper handling and care of surgical specimens.

Contributes to the efficient turnover of operating rooms between cases.

Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control policies.

Actively participate in ongoing education and training opportunities.
