Today we are hiring (2)  Surgical Technologist (CST) for our client in Lewiston, ID. This positions comes with a sign on bonus and full relocation package  if needed to relocate to the area.

Job Duties are as follows:

Functions as a member of the sterile team
Assists in readying room, opening supplies, performs surgical scrub, sets up back table and prepares anticipated instruments, equipment and supplies
Assists with draping and establishing sterile field
Anticipates needs and passes instruments, sutures, etc., according to need
Assures safe, sterile environment through use of scrupulous aseptic technique
Needle and sponge counts with circulating nurse
Shares on-call rotation with other staff member


The minimum requirements are as follows:

-Have Graduated from an accredited course
-Surgical Technician Certification (CST) is preferred at time of employment.
-Certification is required within 6-months of employment.
-At least 2-3 years of acute care hospital-based operating room experience.
-At least 2-3 years of experience in Ortho, Neuro, General Surgery, Spine & Robotics.
-Must have knowledge of principles and procedures related to surgery.
-Current BLS

The Salary offered is based on years of experience:

0-years of experience is the minimum and 29/30-years of experience is the maximum. The salary range is from $52,000.00 - $78,000 yearly. This is a full-time: 80-hrs per pay period shift and the Hours are from 6:30am - 5:00pm.

Call Schedule: 1 day/week and 1 weekend/month ($4.00/hour while on call)

Call Back: minimum of 2-hours of pay when called in at time & one half

Shift Differential: (pay is based on majority of hours worked)
Evening Shift (3pm – 11:30pm) = 8%
Night Shift (11:00pm – 7:30am) = 11%
No Weekend Differential
