  • Responsibilities

    USPI Hyde Park Surgery Center is seeking a motivated Surgical Technologist to join our team. We have 3 OR rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, Orthopedic, Pain Management, Spine. Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

    Job Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Surgical Technologist scrubs for surgical procedures and demonstrates competence while functioning as a member of the surgical team. Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment related to these procedures. Supports the philosophy, objectives and goals of the Surgery Center. Supports and participates in quality improvement activities.

    Required Skills

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required
    • Surgical Technologist certification (CST) preferred
    • 1 year of relevant experience (Orthopedic/ENT)
    • BLS required upon start date
    • Knowledge or willingness to learn and assist in Sterile Processing required
