    POSITION SUMMARY:

    Servtech, A Roeslein Company, is seeking a Pipe Assembler II to join our team in our manufacturing facilities for the energy, mining, industrial power markets, and Integrated bio-energy solutions. This individual must have the desire to perform quality work safely, be detail-oriented, and have superior customer focus. This individual must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Must operate hand tools safely.
    • Assist with organizing materials and equipment.
    • Assist in the assembly of pre-welded piping flanged spools, valves, SS tubing, pipe stands, and threaded piping/fittings.
    • Conduct activities safely and healthily and work following Servtech Safety Procedures and Policies
    • Must have the ability to meet deadlines while working safely and producing a quality product
    • Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • $25.50 - $28.98 per hour

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands and fingers, grip, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop; kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear. Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. regularly is required. Must be able to stand/walk 90% of the time and sit 10% of the time. Requires the ability to work from heights while utilizing the appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) for each situation.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT :

    Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures—for short periods is possible. All employees are required to follow safety standards and wear all personal protective equipment in designated areas.


    KNOWLEDGE / SKILL / ABILITY / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE :

    • A High School Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred but not required
    • 1-2 years of pipe fitting is required
    • 1 year of pipe-threading is preferred.
    • Must work well with others in a team-oriented environment

    QU ALIFICATIONS:

    Education/Experience:

    High school diploma or GED with 5 years of phlebotomy and/or related experience.

    Language Ability:
    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

    Math Ability:

    Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

    Reasoning Ability:

    Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Skills:

    Microsoft Office to include Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Outlook e-mail.
