We're partnered with a reputable civil engineering firm located in Nashville, TN; they are seeking a skilled professional to lead their survey teams, manage projects, and drive client development. As a Survey Leader, you'll utilize cutting-edge technology, including aerial mapping, reality capture, and advanced GPS systems.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage survey teams, including field crews and survey technicians
• Coordinate surveys and investigations, preparing topographic maps, boundary adjustments, and legal descriptions
• Ensure compliance with regulations, manage project timelines and budgets, and advise the engineering team
• Perform complex tasks related to boundary and topographic surveying and mapping
• Demonstrate creativity, professionalism, and excellent communication skills

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in land surveying, subdivision mapping, and topographic mapping
• Proficiency in Carlson Survey and GPS Equipment
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Tennessee Registered Professional Land Surveyor required
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D software applications
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in environments with potential hazards (venomous snakes, insects, etc.)
• Physical stamina to stand for long periods, work in varying temperatures, and traverse challenging terrain
• Ability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.
