Swimming Instructor

As a swimming instructor, you will impact people’s lives while teaching them a valuable life skill.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct classes

· Teach students in and around pool, flexible hours and potentially some weekend hours.

· Create a fun and gentle environment following current British Swim School methods, policies, and safety procedures as directed by the Aquatics Director

· Attend staff meetings and ongoing trainings/coaching as requested by the Aquatics Director

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Enthusiastic, assertive personality with strong relationship and customer service skills

Effectively communicate with children, customers, and staff at pool location

Disciplined. Follows schedules, safety procedures, teaching methods, and all procedures of British Swim School

Ability to demonstrate and teach swim strokes appropriately and as trained.

Qualifications:

· Lifeguard certification preferred.

· CPR and First Aid certified.

Compensation and Rewards: $19.00 - 21.00 hourly
