Responsibilities

Provide swim instruction based on the approved curriculum.

Enforce all safety guidelines and regulations.

Rescue swimmers needing assistance and administer First Aid and CPR when necessary.

Visibly inspect pool and swimming areas for cleanliness and possible maintenance issues.

Maintain and ensure proper storage of all pool equipment. Place and remove lane lines.

Qualifications

Individuals aged 16 and older who are currently pursuing a high school diploma or GED, or those who have already obtained this qualification.

Experience as a certified lifeguard, swimming instructor, youth sports instructor/coach, camp counselor, or childcare provider is preferred.

Swimming experience preferred.

First aid/CPR certification preferred. Lifeguard or WSI certification is a plus!

Positive attitude and friendly demeanor.

Willingness to receive training.

Strong swimming abilities preferred.

Location/Hours

New Haven and Orange locations.

Weekday shifts are from 4-7 pm and weekend shifts from 9-12pm.
