General Description:
To provide swim instruction to students of all skill levels and age ranges based on their needs while embodying the values of the company.
Qualifications:
18 years of age or older
Current CPR/LG certifications
Previous aquatic experience
Must pass a background check
Must act professionally in accordance with our values.
Effectively communicate (absences, tardiness, student information requests, supervisors requests, supervisees requests, etc) in a timely manner.
Ability to work independently.
Ability to energetically and enthusiastically embrace an environment of constant learning and growth.
Essential Job Functions:
Arrive on time and prepared. (Lesson focus and plan for progression, uniform, ect)
Work as a cohesive member of the team. (Help set-up, give feedback, receive and apply feedback, learn and follow facility rules, lead by example, ect)
Provide timely information on the progress of your students. (Update levels as needed, progress reports, management requests)
Instruct students in water safety, fundamentals of swimming, stroke progression, and advanced swimming techniques, based on the students’ needs.
Attend mandatory meetings and training sessions.
Act quickly and professionally in emergency situations.
Reports to: Deck Supervisors, Class Managers, Staff Managers, Management Team
Supervises: Trainees, Floaters
