Who we are:

Symetria Recovery is the #1 outpatient rehab in Illinois and Texas. It started with three simple, yet game-changing core beliefs: Addiction is a disease; co-occurring mental health conditions should be addressed, and patients deserve respect, not judgement. Symetria Recovery provides comprehensive substance abuse treatment with a focus on Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) in a welcoming outpatient setting. Unlimited clinical services are available to our patients under our bundled-service delivery model. Key services delivered through our Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) licensure include MAT, medically monitored psychiatric care, individual therapy, group therapy (IOP), 6-day-per-week nursing care, and ongoing aftercare. Most of our patients being provided medication receive Buprenorphine products, but they can also receive Methadone, injectables (Vivitrol, Sublocade), and any other FDA-approved medication for addiction.

What you will do:

• This position is responsible for ensuring daily patient billing for administered care, and will provide backup duties for billing, posting and collection team leads. May work with patients directly. This position will be reporting directly to the Director of Revenue Cycle Management.
• System reconciliations and audits. Identify possible problems that may cause any slowing of the cash flow. (i.e. new insurance plans, new, credentialing, contracting or new providers).
• Creating month end reports and analysis.
• Answering patient calls and clinic inquiries regarding billing.
• Ad hoc analysis related to Revenue Cycle functions.
• Assists RCM in billing and coding as per guidelines, maintain payor portals and system updates.
• Assist RCM with any assigned projects and analysis.
• Develop and sustain a good working relationship with insurance companies.
• Act as team project champion to Revenue Cycle Team with communicating Revenue Cycle Management goals and objectives.
• Effective communication with the billing partner.
• Assist with and acts as backup for billing and cash posting.

Who you are:

• Knowledge of Revenue Cycle with a minimum 3 years of experience required.

• High school diploma or GED required

• Ability to review accounts and perform accurate reconciliation

• Experience in insurance and billing in a healthcare setting

• Collaborative and also has experience in working in a remote setting

• Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy

• Experience in working with spreadsheets and pivot tables

• Experience in analyzing claims payments and review of EOB's

• Experience in answering patient calls and inquiries

• Experience in navigating payer websites, including Availity

• Experience with analyzing large data sets

• Excellent problem solving skills

• Experience in working with a third party vendor

• Experience in reviewing payer contracts as it applies to claims payment accuracy
