Job Description

As a new member of our engineering team, you will be working hand in hand with the project managers designing mechanical and plumbing systems - taking projects from planning through construction. You are early in your career with at least a year of professional experience designing HVAC or plumbing systems. As a technology adopter, you view Revit as an essential tool—you’ve mastered all the cool time-saving tricks. HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR DAYS:

• Creating simple and functional designs for remodels, additions, and new construction, using AutoCAD and Revit– plumbing, ductwork, HVAC, mechanical and process infrastructure
• Calculating heating and cooling loads, ventilation requirements, process pumping and heat exchange calculations using standard design practices
• Working closely with senior project managers ensuring every detail is attended to and the project is completed on time and on budget
• Authoring documentation at all levels (CAD, design, layout, promotional) 
• Stretching yourself professionally – we’re a small, capable and busy team!

Qualifications

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE TABLE:

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering 
• At least 1 year of professional experience designing HVAC or plumbing systems 
• 100% hands-on engineer that can help create engineering systems and produce at the same time
• Expert-level competency with Revit – extra points for experience with AutoCAD 
• Computer proficiency in MS Excel, Office, and Bluebeam
• Problem-solving ability, strong work ethic and pride of ownership
• Naturally self-directed, resourceful, with an agile mind – you thrive in a dynamic environment where priorities shift regularly
• Desire to learn and take on more complex project designs
