    Job Summary

    Artificial Turf Products, Inc., Charlotte’s oldest synthetic turf installation company, has several openings for Entry Level and Experienced Synthetic Turf Installers. These are day shift jobs, Monday - Friday with occasional Saturday work. These positions involve strenuous physical labor installing synthetic turf for both commercial and residential clients located mainly in the Charlotte and surrounding areas but may require travel on occasion.     We are seeking a hard-working, team player dedicated to performing quality work in all that you do. Past experience as a turf installer or landscaper is preferred and a positive attitude is a must!

    Responsibilities:

    Remove sod and soil from jobsite using both power equipment (skid steer, dingo) and/or wheelbarrow

    Install base rock material

    Laying, trimming, gluing, securing turf to nailer board and/or edging

    Perform maintenance work for existing turf customers consisting of power brooming, blowing and making small repairs

    Use hand tools, such as shovels, hammers, rakes, saws or axes

    Operate vehicles or powered equipment, such as tractors, twin-axle vehicles, blowers, chainsaws, sod cutters, or plate tamps

    Use of electrical tools, such as saws, drills, compressors and accessories, or generators

    Gather and remove trash

    Interact with customers and co-workers in a professional and friendly manner

    Qualifications:

    Past experience as a synthetic turf installer or landscaper is preferred

    Experience with the use of hand-held and power tools

    Must be able to climb ladders and stairs, comfortably lift 50+ pounds repetitively, and work on your feet for long periods of time

    Willing to work in all weather elements
