    Job Description

    This Systems Quality Engineering Analyst position will be required to perform this job successfully, which will include working independently with minimal supervision and direction.     RESPONISBILTIES Include (but are not limited to)

    • Track and report weekly Hyundai and Genesis vehicle buyback reports
    • Organize and schedule Task Force Team (TFT) for dealer visits and customer interviews for face-to-face interviews with HMA engineers
    • Plan Recall and Service Campaign meetings with various HMA departments
    • Plan vehicle incident parts installations for evaluation with HMA engineers
    • Track and report to HMA management and HMA affiliates, QIRs and QIS for HMA and Hyundai affiliates
    • Perform IQS and VDS data read outs, root cause analysis and data preparation for HMA executive management and Hyundai affiliates
    • Review and coordinate project documentation and escalation items for Monthly Quality Reports
    • Implement continuous improvement of vehicle quality processes and measurement procedures using an analytics solution that automate and optimize business outcomes
    • Develop processes and procedures to monitor dealer quality for Aged Inventory management
    • Develop ad-hoc reports and verbatim from the continuous quality insights data
    • Create TSB draft for publication
    • Conduct technical investigations and write QIRs to Hyundai affiliate and follow-up activities for open issues or potential risks
    • Conduct competitor benchmarking and customer preference studies
    • Develop and maintain standardized documentation of department processes. (e.g., trip report, monthly and quarterly reports, VDS, and IQS)
    • Support new vehicle launch quality monitoring process during first one hundred (100) days through dealer communications and parts retrieval
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent experience or
    • Engineering degree and relevant discipline
    • 1 year of experience in automotive or technology industry is preferred
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point is preferred
    • Minimum of 1 year in an automotive service environment is preferred but not required
    • The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
    • Use equipment consistent with industry standards, First Aid/CPR Certified preferred but not required

    LANGUAGE SKILLS

    Must have ability to maintain a professional level of oral and written communication in English.
