    Job Description

    The Systems Administrator will play an important role in overseeing various technical administrative responsibilities within the organization. This position will be primarily responsible for maintaining a variety of industry leading network monitoring and management tools and utilities. The individual filling this role will interact and coordinate with internal client teams to enable improved awareness and visibility into the status and performance of network, server, and cloud infrastructure. Additionally, this role will be responsible for managing hands-on network and infrastructure support tasks in the Philadelphia metro area. The Systems and Network Administrator will address technical needs and maintain vigilance over system availability. The candidate filling this role will function as an escalation path for support of technology-related issues and will support the Infrastructure Services team including rotating on-call schedule. This is an on-site position.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Configure, manage, and maintain enterprise network management, monitoring, and auditing tools to ensure optimal system performance, availability, and alerting.
    • Oversee the implementation and ongoing management of enterprise password and secrets management tool.
    • Develop and customize dashboards, alerts, and reports for effective monitoring and reporting of enterprise systems.
    • Ensure accurate logging and auditing of network activities in accordance with organizational policies.
    • Integrate Service Desk Application with automation and monitoring tools to streamline workflows and automate processes.
    • Support and manage the Security Suite for incident response, vulnerability scanning, and security operations center (SOC) integration.
    • Deploy and manage the enterprise vulnerability management and patching platform for hosted vulnerability and patch management across various systems.
    • Administer Microsoft SCCM, InTune, and AutoPilot for build automation, mobile device management (MDM), and device provisioning.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in IT infrastructure, monitoring systems administration, or related roles.
    • Hands-on experience with and relevant certifications in the listed tools, especially SolarWinds Orion, Delinea Secret Server, Rapid7, Automox, Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator, SCCM, Intune, AutoPilot, or comparable industry accepted solutions.
    • Proven ability to develop integrations and automation between various IT tools.
    • Knowledge of scripting and automation (e.g., PowerShell, Python) to enhance system integrations.
    • Strong understanding of network monitoring, auditing, security operations, and ITSM processes.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
    • Ability to understand and follow documentation, repeat existing processes and create new documentation.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team and individually with minimal supervision.
