    Eurofins Agroscience Services is searching for a System Administrator to work in Easton, MD.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

    Providing support to users by identifying problems, researching solutions and guiding users through corrective steps

    Inventory, installation, repair and maintenance of computers, various IT equipment, accessories, and software

    Provides expert advice and assistance during selection, design, and implementation of IT systems.

    Resolve problems encountered during the installation, configuration and operation of information systems.

    Verification of correct functioning of software acquired/development by the Company

    Participate in special projects and system validation testing

    Develop and maintain the company’s inventory of IT assets, including equipment and software database and network topology diagrams.

    Be familiar with pertinent study protocols, GLP’s and SOP’s and ensure adherence to them in one’s own work and by all applicable systems and the staff developing, administering, and operating those systems

    Qualifications

    The ideal candidate would possess:

    Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skills

    Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

    Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

    Basic Minimum Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree with supplemental technical training or five years’ experience demonstrating a working knowledge of the development, installation, configuration, and customization of IT systems.

    Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

    Additional Information

    Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m., with overtime and some weekend shifts required as needed. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Easton, MD are encouraged to apply.
