This position is responsible for leading and managing a small team for the support of a multi-location national health and fitness organization. You will install, configure, troubleshoot and diagnose workstations, LANS, WANS, servers, and virtual environments. This position works at our corporate office and on premises only. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Responsibilities:
Maintain essential IT operations, including VPNs, operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, routers and firewalls, software, and hardware
Perform server administration tasks, including user/group administration, security permissions, group policies, print services, research event log warnings and errors, and resource monitoring, ensuring system architecture components work together seamlessly
Ensure the organization follows all Best Practices concerning technology security
Monitor datacenter health and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers as needed
Maintain internal infrastructure requirements including, laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segments
Interact with the help desk and other teams to assist in troubleshooting, identify root cause, and provide technical support when needed
Support internal VOIP technologies (Sip, IAX), including an Asterisk telephony systems (Analog and Digital)
Requirements:
Partner with internal and external stakeholders to communicate project status, activities, and achievements
Assisting IT Director as needed
Ensures that all required documentation (daily reports, checklists, etc.) are completed in a timely manner

Expectations:
Bachelor’s degree in technology or computer science is preferred
Strong oral and written communication with members and staff
Ability to work well with others
Two years field experience or equivalent certification
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
