    Job Title: Systems Administrator

    Reports To: Director of Systems & Security

    Location: Greenwood, IN (Onsite)

    Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000/year

    We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our team and help manage and maintain critical IT infrastructure for both our internal operations and our clients. If you're a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for IT, we want to hear from you!

    Position Summary

    As a Systems Administrator , you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting IT systems, servers, and networks. You will work closely with our technical team and clients , ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of IT environments. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, troubleshooting skills, and a customer-centric mindset to provide excellent support and proactive maintenance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Install, configure, and maintain servers, networks, and system infrastructure (both on-premises and cloud-based).
    • Manage Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows Server, and virtualization environments (Hyper-V, VMware).
    • Monitor system performance, security, and backups to ensure uptime and data protection.
    • Perform troubleshooting and problem resolution for system and network-related issues.
    • Implement and maintain security best practices , including patch management, endpoint protection, and access controls.
    • Assist in network administration , including firewalls, switches, VPNs, and Wi-Fi configurations.
    • Support and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.
    • Collaborate with service desk technicians to provide tier 2/3 escalated support for complex technical issues.
    • Document system configurations, changes, and troubleshooting procedures.
    • Research and recommend new technologies and solutions to improve IT efficiency and security.
    • Provide support for IT projects and deployments , ensuring smooth implementation and minimal downtime.
    • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and cybersecurity policies.
    • Travel to client locations (company vehicle provided)
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • 3+ years of experience in systems administration, IT support, or a similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and Azure.
    • Experience with virtualization technologies (Hyper-V, VMware).
    • Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, firewalls).
    • Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced work environment.
    • Strong customer service and communication skills.
    • Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, or similar are a plus.
    • Experience in the Managed Services or IT service provider industry is preferred but not required.
