Systems Engineer

Full Time - Permanent Position

Spokane, WA Area - Hybrid Role

Our client is seeking a Systems Engineer to join their growing Information Technology team.

In this role you will manage VMWare, Active Directory, backups and hardware.

Skills & Expertise:

• Extensive hands-on experience with VMware virtualization technologies, including deployment, configuration, and management of virtualized environments.
• Proven experience with Dell server clusters or stretch clusters, including configuration, maintenance, and ensuring high availability across distributed systems.
• Proficient with Office 365, server hardware, backup tools, and basic networking.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure), SAP, Cisco VoIP, and IT ticketing systems is advantageous.
• Oversee Office 365 licenses, Entra ID configurations, and access permissions.
• Manage IT projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, budget, and deadlines.
• Develop and deploy integrated system solutions that meet organizational objectives.
• Ensure reliability and peak performance through regular updates, issue resolution, and technical support.
• Continuously assess system performance and implement measures to safeguard against vulnerabilities.

Years of Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with servers, Active Directory, VMware, and backup systems.

Preferred Certifications:

• Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA)
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
• CISSP (optional but beneficial)
