KBR Systems Engineers handle the entire lifecycle of projects including design, mplementation, documentation and training. The Systems Engineer plays an integral part in a dynamic fast paced legal environment where quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction are a top priority.
This is a very senior technical position that demands extensive technical knowledge and experience.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Working closely with the Director of IT to deliver projects within their predicted timeframes
• Project Management and Tier 2 and 3 support to the IT HelpDesk
• Post project in-house end-user training and knowledge transfer
• Facilitate formal training sessions with end user staff on various topics

Candidates must meet the following minimum requirements:

• 5-7 years of professional IT experience
• 4-5 years of professional experience with Microsoft Exchange 2016, or 2019 environments
• Deep understanding of Active Directory and Group Policy deployment
• Able to work in a team environment and independently
• VMware with design and implementation experience desired

The successful candidate will possess knowledge and skills in the following technologies:
Server:

• Microsoft Windows Server 2019, 2022

• Veeam Backup

• Active Directory and GPOs

• VMware ESX, ESXi 6.7/7/8

• Knowledge of networking concepts such as routing, switching, VLANs, DNS, subnets, etc.

• Deep knowledge and experience administering Exchange, Hyper-V, Blackberry, Active Directory and SQL Server

Desktop:

• Microsoft Windows 10,11

• Microsoft Office 2019/365

Enterprise Applications:

• Microsoft Exchange Server 2016, 2019, 2022

• Microsoft SQL Server

• Web filtering

• Endpoint detection and response (EDR)

• VMWare SRM

Smartphones and Tablets:
*iPhones, iPads, Droids
Travel required: Visits to 9 branch offices will be required occasionally. Candidate must have access to a vehicle.

• Salary Range: $100,000 - $130,000 annually (Exempt) – The salary offered to a successful candidate, who will work in the New York City office, will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to years of experience within the job, years of experience within the required industry, education, etc.
