    We are seeking a Cook/Cashier to assist our team at a school in West Jacksonville. In this position, you will be responsible for preparing menu items and running one of the four points of sale. If you have a passion for feeding our youth during their favorite time of the day, we want to hear from you! You MUST have transportation for this position. Please do not go to the school, as we are the Food Service Management Company and a separate entity.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Set up the kitchen with the necessary tools and equipment

    Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner

    Follow all food safety regulations

    Participate in daily kitchen opening and closing procedures

    Running a Point of Sale with orders, using credit card swipers, and cash handling

    Must be able to pass a background check that we do for you

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience in a similar role is required

    ServeSafe or Food Handler’s Certification

    Advanced knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes

    Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure

    Excellent time management skills

    Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 pounds
