Customer Service Representative (Level III)
Shenandoah University’s Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing seeks applicants for the position of Nurse-Midwifery Program Director. This is a full-time, benefits position located on either the Winchester or Fairfax, VA campuses.
This 12-month appointment involves the coordination and oversight of the hybrid distance graduate nurse midwifery program. The program director will continue to build on established collaborations between other schools of nursing in the tri-state region of Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia. This appointment also involves a faculty role.
Required Skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Doctoral degree in nursing or related discipline is required as well as national certification as a nurse midwife. Academic leadership and teaching experience required, with scholarship experience preferred.

The Eleanor Wade Custer School of Nursing is approved by the Virginia State Board of Nursing and the Nurse-Midwifery Program accredited by both the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) and Accreditation Commission for Midwifery Education (ACME). Shenandoah University is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). The School of Nursing offers baccalaureate (4-year traditional, transfer, accelerated/second degree and RN-BSN options), Master’s (Family Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Certified Nurse-Midwifery), Post Graduate Certificates ( FNP, PMHNP and Nurse-Midwifery) and Doctor of Nursing Practice (BSN to DNP and post-master’s DNP) programs.
