    We are seeking dedicated staff and caring individuals to join our team at Love Connection Academy Child Care. The successful candidates will be responsible for providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children under their care. This role involves supervising children, organizing activities, and ensuring their physical, emotional, and developmental needs are met.

    We are a Star 4 Center seeking candidates for Full/Part Time positions in our Early Learning Center. This is a great opportunity for anyone who is interested in growing with a company that promotes within. This person must have strong organizational skills and the ability to be hands-on.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Supervision and Care:

    Provide attentive supervision to ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times.

    Attending to children's basic needs, including feeding, diapering, and hygiene routines.

    Engage children in age-appropriate activities to encourage learning, creativity, and social interaction.

    Activity Planning:

    Plan and organize daily activities, including arts and crafts, games, storytelling, and outdoor play.

    Develop educational and developmental activities that promote cognitive, motor, and social skills.

    Adapt activities to meet the individual needs and interests of each child.

    Communication:

    Maintain open and effective communication with parents/guardians regarding their child's progress, behavior, and daily activities.

    Listen to and address any concerns or questions raised by parents/guardians in a professional and empathetic manner.

    Collaborate with colleagues to share information, resources, and best practices for childcare.

    Safety and Health:

    Implement safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.

    Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of childcare facilities, equipment, and toys.

    Monitor children for signs of illness or discomfort and respond appropriately, including administering first aid if necessary.

    Documentation:

    Keep accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and observations.

    Complete required documentation, such as attendance records, incident reports, and medication logs.

    Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information related to children and families.

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or equivalent (Childcare certification or relevant coursework preferred).

    Previous experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or recreational setting.

    Knowledge of child development principles and age-appropriate activities.

    Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with children.

    Additional Requirements:

    Completion of CPR and first aid training (or willingness to obtain).

    Background check clearance.

    Immunizations and health screenings as required by licensing regulations.

    Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
