Part-Time Support Staff
If you have experience working with individuals with OCD and Autism and are engaging and experienced in providing support, then this is the opportunity for you. You'll be an integral part of a young woman's life, helping her achieve her goals of independence, making friends, and being an active part of her community.
In this part-time position, you'll work 2 - 3 days a week 3 - 4 hour shifts per day, providing positive behavioral support and creative problem-solving to help this young woman engage in her preferred activities, such as musicals, theater, socializing, and drinking coffee. You'll work with her both at her home and in the community, taking her places and volunteering.
Our Ideal Candidate will:
Have experience in OCD/MH and Autism.
Enjoy teaching and learning new skills.
Have at least 1 year of caregiving/TSS/PCA experience.
Be reliable and consistent.
Be patient and able to provide positive behavioral support.
Think outside the box and be able to do some creative problem-solving.
Have job coach (CESP/ACRE) experience
Education required: A bachelor's degree in one of these related fields: Psychology, Education, Special Education, Counseling, Social Work, or a current NADD Competency-Based IDD/MI Dual Diagnosis Direct Support Professional Certification. Or CNA, LPN, or RBT certification
The pay rate for this position starts at $33.00 per hour, and mileage is paid at the federal rate.
