Training & development

Provide service to individuals in their own homes who need assistance caring for themselves because of old age, sickness, disability and/or other inflictions. It may include light housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, respite and advice on such things as nutrition, cleanliness and household activities. You will be responsible for ensuring that service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.

This is a mostly a 24-hour live-out care work position in Tolland, CT; about 15 - 20 minutes to Hartford, East Hartford and Manchester CT. Ability to drive, though optional, is preferable. It is recommended to have a driver's license as client sometimes would need a ride for doctor's appointments during the day shifts.
