We are a well-established architecture firm that specializes in architecture, planning and interiors who is actively seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our Dallas, TX office.
We provide architecture, master planning and interior design from our offices in Washington, DC and Dallas, TX. Our award-winning work can be found in major metropolitan areas around the United States as well as overseas. We have a staff of more than 150 and have produced more than 500 major buildings, including commercial office, multifamily residential, higher education, institutional, hospitality, and mixed-use projects since our inception more than 80 years ago.
PROJECT ARCHITECT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
· Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and Office
· Five (5) to ten (10) years relevant experience in hospitality or multifamily
· Licensed through the American Institute of Architecture (AIA) or in the process of becoming licensed
· Ability to lead a team
· Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
PROJECT ARCHITECT ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Design and draft building plans for multi-family residential, commercial office, higher education, institutional, hospitality and mixed-use projects.
· Consult directly with clients to determine a project’s needs and client specifications for many design elements.
· Make frequent site visits throughout the construction project to monitor contractor progress, answer questions that may arise.
· Responsible for site planning and development to ensure that projects comply with zoning, environmental, and safety requirements.
· Prepare project documents and specifications for both contractors and clients.
· Manage both time schedules and project budgets to ensure that construction projects are completed on time and within set budgets.

$75,000 to $100,000 commiserate on experience.
