PROJECT ARCHITECT QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

·       2-3 years of management of teams of at least 3 people below them (Not consultants out of office).

·       5 plus years worked on large commercial/industrial projects from start to completion.

·       Industrial concrete tilt up speculative warehouse project experience.

·       Great communication skills

·       CA licensed Architect (Plus)

·       Revit Experience (Plus)

·       Project budgeting/staffing

PROJECT ARCHITECT ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Client Management.

• Great at managing a team.

• Balance multiple deadlines and large staff.

• Handle issues and find resolutions quickly so PM’s can stay focused.

• Need to know codes and technical nuance of what they are overseeing.

• Review drawings and ensure PM’s are staying on schedule and quality work is being produced.

• Review Pm’s and utilization on projects overall to help motivate and adjust team members where needed.

• Must be highly organized with a keen attention to detail for multiple projects and PM’s

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

• Attend all city hearings and deal with planning and building departments as needed to help guide PM’s to success on their projects.

• Quasi operations manager for their department, needs to be a leader and develop a team to their best.

Our firm was started in 2011, steadily grown from 2011 through today to 20+ employees with continued growth on the horizon! We are specialized in Industrial Concrete Tilt Up Speculative warehouse projects. The bigger the better we have worked on projects that are over 1 million sf and our goal is work on many more of those. We do work on projects as small as approx. 40K. Several of our projects are multi building industrial parks with range in building sizes from 40K to 1 million SF. A secondary service we offer is commercial interiors for the tenant improvements that are done within our industrial projects and also standalone to projects for commercial office users. We have done several corporate projects for national firms!

Compensation for this role is 100k – 150k depending on experience.
