PROJECT ARCHITECT _ SACRAMENTO, CA ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN AND PLANNING STUDIO

Our firm is seeking a passionate PROJECT ARCHITECT to join our integrated team of architects, engineers, interior designers, landscape architects and master planners. Our Sacramento studio is continuing to grow, and you’ll have the opportunity to be a central part of our expansion. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with team members across studios on projects that are both local and across California and Texas. Our clients are both public and private and represent nine different market segments so your career can take many different trajectories.

You will be working with directors and principals in the studio and across the firm. We are looking to you to help us continue to develop our talented designers and engineers.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• • You will be living and breathing the project from inception to completion and be able to turn your hand to all aspects of the project.
    • Lead the project design and documentation process with your team of designers and engineers.
    • Work in unison with the Project Designer and Project Manager and lead the realization of the project.
    • Prepare documentation for schematic design, design development and construction documents
    • Quality control research for product and construction methods related to projects
    • Lead the construction administration process
    • Mentor your team members and help to train and upskill them.

PROJECT ARCHITECT EXPERIENCE:

• • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture required
    • 10+ years of experience in all phases of architectural projects
    • Architectural license required

PROJECT ARCHITECT REQUIREMENTS:

• • Proficiency in CAD and Revit is required.
    • Strong technical, code and detailing skills for quality documentation
    • Enthusiastic commitment to the multidisciplinary design process and team environment
    • Proactive written and verbal communication skills
    • Knowledgeable to support both, management and design
