    Job Description

    Ulbrich Shaped Wire has a part-time opportunity for a Tool Room Helper at the Ulbrich Shaped Wired facility in North Haven, CT. This position will report to the Tool Room Supervisor and assist the Tool Makers in day to day tasks. Hours of work 8am-12pm, M-F.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assemble new rolls ready for production,
    • Disassemble rolls that have been used,
    • Clean rolls and bearings,
    • Log information in/out of inventory using the computer system,
    • Put away rolls and bearings,
    • Inspect bearings for excessive wear or damage,
    • Crate repairs,
    • General housekeeping of Tooling area,
    • Deliver and pick up rolls and misc. items, and
    • Assist operators when needed.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    A High School Diploma plus a strong mechanical aptitude is required. Experience assembling, running and operating machinery. Must have basic computer skills. Ability to lift 40-50 lbs. and stand for upwards of 4 hours.
