    Job Description

    Axiado is looking for a full-time contractor to assist us in developing critical security features for our Trusted Computing Unit products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Secure Boot, RTOS, Linux kernel, device drivers, peripheral interfaces, and bus protocols, as well as open-source software development. This role requires strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues while ensuring security, performance, and scalability of embedded solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Integrate known security standards with the Axiado technology stack
    • Design, develop, and verify embedded software, firmware, and drivers for our systems
    • Porting cryptographic library to Axiado proprietary cryptographic accelerators
    • Develop tests, Debug, test, and troubleshoot software across embedded environments
    • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to best practices
    • Experiment/test with new development boards
    • Contribute to the design, coding, testing, delivery, and ongoing support for Axiado embedded software systems
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • B.S., or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
    • Strong knowledge of C/C++ for embedded systems programming
    • Work experience with Embedded Linux and RTOS such as FreeRTOS or Zephyr OS
    • Experience with writing Linux or RTOS drivers
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic development environment
    • Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g., UART, SPI, I2C, PCIe)
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Working knowledge of classic cryptography: AES, SHA2, RSA, ECC
    • Experience and technical knowledge of security engineering, system and network security, authentication and security protocols, cryptography, and application security

    Nice to have

    • Experience with cryptographic libraries: OpenSSL, MbedTLS, WolfSSL
    • Working experience with Trusted Computing Group TPM 2.0 devices
    • Proficiency in the TPM 2.0 standard
    • Experience with security processors and/or HSMs.
    • Experience writing cryptographic libraries
    • Experience in Security Engineering or Development of Security capabilities, supporting engineering projects from concept to delivery, in one of the following technical categories: hardware security (PCB, JTAG, UART, SPI, ROM, microcode, custom ASIC/FPGA) - x86 and/or ARM chipset and firmware security (TPM, UEFI, TrustZone, Secure Boot, JTAG, PCIe)
